Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam administration has been instructed to stay alert for the upcoming landfall of Cyclone Fani. It is being expected that the landfall of Fani is likely to start from the first week of May. As there is no time left, the State Government has given strict instructions to the admins to stay alert and make the necessary arrangements.
The intensity of Cyclone is lowering down; thus it is supposed not to create any kind of severe damage. The effect of the cyclone will be restricted with reasonable rains and stormy winds which is likely to begin by the end of today.
- Swimmers are being restricted to go into the sea.
- Fishermen have been instructed not to enter the sea during this time.
- The people staying in the coastal areas have also been alerted by the concerned authorities
- The landfall of Cyclone Fani is being expected at Odisha coast or in the neighboring coastal regions.
